Cookies and storage
LookAhead stores only what it needs to work. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, no analytics services, and nothing that follows you to other sites. That's why you don't see a cookie banner: the law only asks for consent for storage that isn't strictly necessary, and we don't use any.

Stored in your browser
These are kept on your device only, to remember choices you made. They're never sent to us or anyone else.

The bot check
When you ask for a sign-in email, open a share link for the first time or invite someone, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person is there. It runs in a small frame from challenges.cloudflare.com, reads technical signals from your browser for that one check and doesn't set cookies. Almost always you won't notice it; sometimes it asks you to tick a box.
Offline copies
LookAhead keeps a copy of its own pages and code on your device (a service worker) so it opens quickly and shows a message when you're offline. Your music isn't stored there.
Clearing it
You can delete all of this in your browser's settings for this site. You'll be signed out and your settings on this device go back to the defaults; your account and music aren't affected.
