Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and Quinn Trustfull ("we") for using LookAhead. By creating an account or using a share link you accept them. Last updated: 19 October 2026.

Who can use LookAhead

You must be at least 16 years old. If you use LookAhead for a band, label or company, you confirm you may accept these terms for them.

Your account

You sign in with your email address. Keep access to that email safe: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Tell us at contact@lookahead.studio if you think someone else got in.

Your music stays yours

You keep all rights to everything you upload: audio, covers, lyrics, notes and comments. You give us only the permission we need to run LookAhead for you: to store it, make playable copies and waveforms of it, and show or play it to you and the people you share it with. That permission ends when you delete it, apart from copies in backups for up to 30 days.

We don't use your music for anything else: no promotion, no AI training, no selling.

Only upload what you have the right to upload and share. You're responsible for who you share it with; anyone with a share link (and its password, if you set one) can listen, and downloads are possible when you allow them.

What's not allowed

• Uploading content you don't have the rights to, or that is illegal, hateful, or sexual content involving minors.
• Using LookAhead to harass, threaten or spam people.
• Trying to get into accounts, projects or links that aren't yours, or to break, overload or work around the limits of the service.
• Automated scraping, or reselling access to LookAhead.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Where we can, we'll tell you why first and give you the chance to respond.

Reporting content

If you find content on LookAhead that infringes your rights or is illegal, write to contact@lookahead.studio with a link to it and why. We'll look at it promptly and let you know what we did.

Price

LookAhead is free to use right now. There are no hidden fees, and nothing is charged without you choosing a paid plan first.

If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you the price, what's included and how cancelling works before you pay, and free features you already use won't disappear without notice.

Refunds

Nothing is charged today, so there's nothing to refund. If paid plans come: you'll be able to cancel any time, effective at the end of the period you paid for, and EU customers will have the 14-day right of withdrawal the law gives them. The exact refund terms will be added here before anything is charged.

Availability

We work to keep LookAhead running and your music safe (with nightly backups), but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copies of anything important; LookAhead isn't meant as your only backup.

Ending

You can stop using LookAhead and delete your account at any time (Settings, Account). We may end the service or your account with reasonable notice, and in that case we'll give you time to download your music first, except where the law or serious misuse requires us to act straight away.

Liability

We're responsible for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and as far as the law requires otherwise (for example for injury, or under consumer law that can't be waived). Beyond that, and since LookAhead is free, we're not liable for indirect damage or lost data. Nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before the change takes effect.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. If you're a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the law where you live, and can go to court there.
